Structure

MRN is a charity, registered with the Charity Commission in September 2008. It is also a registered company which operates on a not-for-profit basis. It is governed by its 'Memorandum and Articles of Association' which clearly set out its objects, management rules and procedures.
 

Board of Trustees

MRN has an active Board of Directors responsible for the overall management of the organisation. Directors are appointed on the basis of their knowledge and involvement in migration work.

The current Board draws on the experiences of a majority of members who have personal understanding of life as a migrant in the UK. Working in Scotland, Wales, London and the West Midlands, they provide MRN with an understanding of how immigration impacts different nations and regions of the UK. They draw on experience in the fields of public services, women’s rights, race equality, trade unionism and refugee and community organisation as the basis of their work.
