Cultures count on migrants
MENTER together with Stevenage World Forum, Stevenage Polish Association, Hertfordshire Constabulary and Stevenage Borough Council are organizing a Multicultural event on 12th of September, 12 pm until 4 pm in Stevenage Town Centre. called: “Cultures count on migrants”. It is going to be a magnificent opportunity to celebrate diversity, get to know each other and build strong links with various communities from Stevenage.
During the day, there will be performances and acts from different community groups, such as the Polish music band Fresh Live from Luton, African Caribbean Choir, Irish dancing group, Lajkonik (Polish children dancing group), Fusion Theatre and Bhangra Dance. Everybody is invited to join us and have a stall present in order to promote their services! And of course, on that day local community will have a superb chance to try food from different parts of the world.
You really can’t miss it!
The event would not take place if we didn’t receive funding!! We are extremely grateful to Migration Impact Fund (MIF), Hertfordshire Locality Budget: Cllr Sharon Taylor and Stevenage Community Trust for the opportunity to make it all real!!!
