Migrant Voice supporters set off on 192 mile sponsored walk

Two supporters of the migrants and media project, Migrant Voice , Diane and Guy, are setting off this Sunday on a 192 mile coast-to-coast walk to raise funds for the project.  This message comes from MV's director, Nazek Ramadan, explaining what it is all about and how you can support them.

Dear friends and colleagues, 

Di and Guy are walking 192 miles, how far will you go to support Migrant Voice? 

Luckily, you do not have to move an inch. Let Di and Guy do the walking and you sponsor their two-week walk to raise money for Migrant Voice.

All the proceeds from the walk will go to support the work of Migrant Voice, which is currently running on 100% voluntary basis. 

Migrant Voice is working to transform how migrants, refugees and asylum seekers are portrayed in the media and mobilise them to engage in positively influencing the migration debate and changing public attitude.  

Please do send encouraging messages to Diane and Guy through this email and we will pass it to them. We will keep you updated about the progress and completion of the walk. We are very grateful to Diane and Guy for organising this and we would welcome any fundraising ideas to support Migrant Voice.
