Roundatables & Workshops
MRN organises Regional and National Policy Roundtables to provide a forum for debating current policy developments. Bringing together a cross-section of actors and stakeholders, MRN roundtables provide the opportunity to exchange opinions and build networks. The discussions feed into our strategic policy analysis.
Thus far, the MRN has organised roundtables in five UK regions: London, the North West, Scotland, the West Midlands and Wales.
MRN also organises Special Issue Workshops and Conferences on particularly topical issues to help develop and refine policy analysis that includes consideration of migrants’ rights. These events aim to disseminate fresh thinking by engaging the wider policy community. Some of the issues which MRN has been focusing on include migrant access to health care, the vulnerability of migrant workers to exploitation and undocumented migrants.
